The Development Course

2009

Team Built, Technique Breakthrough & Hantai Foundation

  • Three cofounders of Hantai, sharing the same interest, built a research team for new technique of firesleeve: Mike Zeng, with more than 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing of thermal insulation products. QH Zhao & QL Zhao, brothers, each with more than 10 years’ experience in silicone rubber field.
  • The 1st firesleeve coated with double polymer silicone rubber in China came out with our three cofounders’ efforts. This technique still prevails in the silicone rubber coating field in China nowadays.
  • Hantai New Materials was founded with 7 production lines for thermal insulation sleeving and coating products.

2012

R&D dept. establishment

  • Hantai R&D dept. was established by incorporating Dr. Yang graduated from University of Nottingham with PhD in both high temperature material and nanotechnology.
  • Hantai products started to go aboard with export team built.
2012

2014

Hantai 1st expansion

  • Our factory moved to new industrial zone with 2 new workshops of 9 production lines and a new office building.
  • Product range was expanded, and custom fabrication dept. was established.
2014

2017

Hantai 2nd expansion

  • Production plant expanded to 4 workshops with 15 production lines.
    Hantai products covered sleeving, tape, rope, fabric and custom fabrication.
2017

2019

Significant year for Hantai

  • Acquisition of Hantai Industrial Zone.
  • Production facilities expanded to 30 weaving lines and 15 coating lines.
  • Tiny sleeve Dept. established with 100 production lines.
  • The first Industrial Grade Firesleeve successfully developed in China.
  • Hefei Branch & Guangzhou Branch established.

2021

The beginning of the “Five-Year Plan” of Hantai

  • Upgraded brand strategy with launch of corporate mascot  Ant Defender.
  • Took the lead in completing the environmental protection equipment
    upgrading for firesleeve workshop in China.
  • Expanded firesleeve production capacity to 30 lines with innovation and
    improvement on production technology.
  • Started construction for 2 new workshops of 10,000M2.
2021

2022

Hantai 3rd expansion

  • 2 new workshops totaling 10,000m2 were completed and put into operation.
  • New warehouse with 5,000m2 was put into use, which greatly increased warehousing capacity.
  • Firesleeve production facilities were upgraded to 40 weaving lines and 30 coating lines, with an annual output of 2.5 million meters.
  • Firesleeve size range was expanded to 160mm ID.

2. Abundant stock for fast delivery: Hantai retains one-month stock in a 5000m2 warehouse, which can cater for shipment in no time.

3. Continuous product R & D: Hantai R&D dept., led by Dr. Yang, boasts a professional technical team and comprehensive equipment to conduct all kinds of necessary tests on our products, which ensures a timely quality control.

4. Quality Assurance: Certified by IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Hantai always adheres to strict production management and quality control policies. We have acquired product certificates, such as CE, REACH, RoHS, UL1441, EN45545-2, MSHA, IEC60332-1-2, DIN5510-2, etc., ensuring every product delivered with satisfactory quality.
